Purlins and Girts that are lapped form a structuraly continuous line along the length of the building, a factor that contributes significantly to the reduction in building costs.
Downturn lip purlins are ideal in applications where environmental conditions or a build up of substances like dust or grain are a consideration. Fascia purlins angled to suit the roof slope and an optional downturn lip for wall sheet attachment are available in long length one-piece sections.
