Galvabond® steel

GALVABOND® G2 and G2S steel GALVABOND® G2 steel is a hot-dipped zinc-coated commercial forming steel with a spangled surface, suitable for general manufacturing. This product is designed for moderate drawing applications and is suitable for lockseaming up to 1.6mm thick.

GALVABOND® G2S steel is skinpassed to improve surface quality.

The typical uses for GALVABOND® G2 and G2s steel are tubing, airconditioning
ducts, airconditioning panels, meter boxes, trailers, portioning systems, cable trays, scaffolding planks, rendering mesh and feeder troughs.

G450 steel is a hot-dipped zinc coated structural steel with a spangled surface and guaranteed minimum yield strength of 450 MPa. G450s steel is skinpassed to improve surface quality. The skinpassed product is only available up to 2mm thick. Suitable for purlins, structural decking and scaffolding.

ZINCFORM® G250 and G250S steel
G250 steel is a hot-dipped zinc-coated structural steel with a spangled surface and guaranteed minimum yield strength of 250 MPa, with good ductility. Suitable for severe roll-forming. G250s steel is skinpassed to improve surface quality. The skinpassed product is only available up to 2mm thick. Commonly used for roll-formed structural sections.

ZINCANNEAL® G2S steel ZF100
G2S is a matte hot-dipped zinc/iron alloy-coated commercial forming steel with a skin-passed smooth surface suitable for direct-on painting. Some powdering of the coating may occur with severe deformation. Used in exposed painted panels, non-exposed automotive panels, washing machines, acoustic ceiling tiles, door frames, switchboards, commercial refrigerators and freezers.

WARRANTIES
Our products are supported by Bluescope Steel Limited and a full warranty is available.

LENGTHS / TRANSPORT
Apex Building Products can custom cut lengths to your requirements. Due to transport restrictions it is advisable to check with our office the maximum length.

HANDLING
Care should be taken at all times when handling Corrugated. Packs must be kept dry and stored above ground level, should the sheets become wet separate immediately and individually wipe and place in an area to dry.

COMPATIBILITY
ZINCALUME® steel sheeting is compatible with most roofing products. It is NOT recommended to use lead flashing/nails, copper or copper alloy materials with or in run-off situations.

CUTTING
Apex Building Products provides this service, however sheets may be cut using a power saw with a metal cutting blade. COLORBOND® steel sheeting must be cut with the coloured surface facing the ground. Ensure that no hot particles or debris come into contact with the COLORBOND® .

CLEAN UP
To prevent premature corrosion at the completion of each day ensure the sheeting area is cleared of all debris, including nails, rivets, rags and all cutting or drilling filings.

DELIVERY
Apex Building Products delivers to site within 1 to 2 days. To prevent any damage we require suitable arrangements to be made for unloading. Unloading by crane, ensure the load is evenly spread, if crane unavailable adequate manpower is required.
