COLORBOND® steel warranties are backed by BlueScope and vary based on your project’s location and specific application, offering up to 36 years of protection for certain roofing builds. To ensure your investment is covered, you can apply for your specific warranty through the BlueScope portal following installation. As your primary partner, Apex Steel ensures all supplied material meets the rigorous standards required to qualify for these industry-leading warranties.
To maintain the performance and finish of your steel, we recommend a simple “wash-down” every six months. Focus on areas not naturally reached by rainfall, such as wall cladding under eaves or the underside of gutters, using fresh water to remove salt spray and dust. Regularly clearing debris from gutters and ensuring soil or mulch does not come into contact with the steel sheets will prevent moisture entrapment and prolong the life of your asset.
Genuine COLORBOND® steel is easy to identify via the laser-branded mark on the reverse side of every sheet.
